✅ General Guidelines
Remove shoes (barefoot scans).
Avoid all black clothing. Wear light, tight-fitting clothes.
Good, even lighting is essential — avoid shadows, glare, or dark rooms.
Film in landscape (horizontal) orientation, at waist height for both walking and standing scans.
Hold the phone still — no tilting, zooming, or following the patient.
Ensure head to toe is visible throughout the scan.
Only start filming once they are in position and comfortable
🚶 Gait Analysis (Walking Scan)
Instructions:

Patient begins far from the camera and walks towards it, stops a few feet before reaching, then walks back.
Repeat 3 times.
Ensure both head and feet are always in frame.

Common Mistakes to Avoid:
Phone held too high or at an angle.
Patient starts too far away or too close, cutting off body.
Vertical video instead of horizontal.
Shaky camera.
Poor lighting.

Instructions:
Have the patient stand still, feet flat, ideally barefoot.
Record 30 seconds with eyes closed if possible.
Keep camera at waist height, horizontal, and stable.
Ensure full body is visible, no obstructions.
👉 Good Example:
